ACS800 Bypass with Synchronisation -
London Underground Ventilation System

ACS800 Drives arrive fom ABB Finland with two empty cubicles attached.

We add the bypass and synchronisation control within the two empty cubicles, including fitting door interlocks, isolators and additional indicators, pushbuttons and ethernet connectors.

The drive ramps the cooling fans to full speed, then once synchronised, supply switches direct to the mains whilst utilising the VSD for power factor correction when in bypass.

The drives are then thoroughly tested including 6 hours soak testing in VSD control 6 hours soak testing in bypass before undergoing a factory acceptance test from London Underground Ltd and site contractors.

We have also designed the cubicles to be easily split for shipping to allow access to fit the drives on site.
